Free Library Event: The Art of Companion Planting with Tandi Family Farms

What do tomatoes, marigolds, and basil have in common? They make great neighbors!
Learn the art of companion planting from Tandi Family Farms, a San Leandro non-profit urban farm school dedicated to teaching local residents how to grow more food in their own gardens.
In this 1-hour engaging talk with the Tandi Farmers you'll discover how thoughtful plant pairings can help your veggie garden thrive all year long. Plus there will be a free drawing for a special garden prize.
This free, family-friendly event is presented in partnership with Tandi Family Farms and the San Leandro Library as part of the Library's summer reading program for youth and teens.
