Long blooming from Spring-Fall, Irene with its pink, red, and yellow blossoms is the diversity we all experience in life. This perennial variety has the aforementioned colors all on one plant, representing the random colorful phenomenons that we experience in our lifetimes', on a day to day basis. Other attributes included are planting in full sun, tolerating many soils (clay even), drought-tolerant, and... this pollinator attractor is avoided by deer!

While invasive in other areas, lantana can be grown as an evergreen perennial in our climate zone.
