Description
Featuring cone-shaped flowers, Ruby Slippers is one of the most unique hydrangea varieties to be seen! Upright growth habit, this shrub represents transformation at its best, as the blooms start off white, changing to pink, and ultimately ruby red as the season changes to fall. Planting in full sun/partial shade is recommended and in fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soil. Blooming season Summer-Fall.
Having over 70 deciduous or evergreen tree and shrub species, Hydrangeas, bring bountiful and colorful blooms to whatever landscape they are planted in! These beauties can change color based on soil ph, which is quite a remarkable feature to have, if you think about it. Generally their bloom cycle is Summer, however some varieties start sooner (early as Spring) and end later (Autumn).
