Graceful ornamental cherry tree with weeping limbs that nearly reach the ground. Showy double pink flowers. Year round interest with dramatic fall foliage.
Prunus pendula Rosea forms a broad crown of long, gracefully weeping branches with small, double flowers that open almost flat in paler pink shades. Clusters of 3-4 drooping blooms arrive spectacularly in mid spring. As the flowers wane, ovoid, bronze-green leaves emerge to create a fresh summer canopy.
