Lipstick Plant ‘Black Pagoda’ is a dramatic trailing houseplant known for its dark, mottled foliage and vibrant tubular blooms. The leaves have a deep purple-green pattern that looks almost artistic, while the plant’s bright flowers resemble little tubes of lipstick emerging from the stems.

This variety thrives in bright, indirect light, which encourages both strong leaf color and more frequent blooming. Too little light may reduce flowering, while harsh direct sun can scorch the foliage.

Water when the top portion of soil begins to dry. Lipstick plants prefer consistent moisture but do not tolerate soggy roots, so good drainage is essential. They also enjoy moderate humidity, making them a great choice for kitchens or grouped plant displays.
