Calathia Lancifolia (Goeppertia insignis)
The Calathea Lancifolia is a dramatic and beautiful plant. Long slender leaves painted with light and dark green markings and a gorgeous purple underside. A delight to behold. As with all calatheas, it can be tempermental. Provide yours with medium-low light conditions, well-draining soil and filtered water to keep this plant happy and thriving.

||Medium Care: Calatheas can be sensitive: tap water, low humidity and bright light can result in brown edges and stress.
||High. You can place the plant on a pebble tray filled with water, use a humidifier or mist regularly to increase indoor humidity.
||Moist, but never wet, soggy conditions. Let top 1"- 2" of soil dry in between watering. Sensitive to minerals in tap water; best to use filtered, rain water or tap water that has set out overnight.
||Regular potting mix; very well draining. Adding perlite can increase drainage.
||Fertilize monthly with balanced houseplant fertilizer during spring and summer.
