California Native Plants 101: Get Started!

Join San Leandro gardener Stefanie Pruegel for this free workshop on Saturday, May 10th from 1-2pm. You'll be introduced to a variety of California Native Plants and learn how to add them to your landscape, whether it’s a few patio containers or an entire backyard.

Stefanie’s San Leandro garden is featured on this year’s “Bringing Back The Natives Tour”. She will share highlights from her native garden journey including: choosing plants that work for your garden; stewarding a vibrant ecosystem full of pollinators and other native creatures; getting started with sheet mulching; and creating functional garden spaces for year round enjoyment.
