||Deep Red to Maroon

||Excellent for containers, small space gardens and patios

Too little light, and some of the more colorful varieties will take on an attractive greenish tone, but not the brilliant fall red/purple colors. For best color, most maples need a location with part day's sun or at least high light.
||Moist, organically rich, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Prefers consistent moisture: Mulch will help retain moisture. Don't let soil dry out, nor become waterlogged.
