RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE

We provide regular service for established residential accounts on a schedule that serves your needs. This includes mowing, weeding, edging, trimming, raking, blowing, fertilizing, pruning as needed, and irrigation checks. We can also replace seasonal bedding plants in 4-inch or 6-pack sizes; plants that are 1-gallon or larger require an estimate.

Rate: $180 per hour (One hour service minimum; includes 2 people)
Service available Monthly, Every Two Weeks, or Weekly.

MAJOR YARD CLEANUPS

Have a field of giant weeds you want removed? Need some dead shrubs taken out? Brush clearing is one of our specialties. If your property needs a focused clean up effort to restore its shape and beauty, or to prepare it for regular maintenance service, we will get the job done neatly and efficiently.  

Rate: $180 per hour (One hour service minimum; includes 2 people)
In person estimate is required. Disposal fees may apply.

MULCH SPREADING

Mulching plants is an excellent gardening practice to conserve moisture, suppress weeds, and build soil health. If you have an area that you would like to cover with mulch, our team can coordinate the materials delivery then spread it throughout your designated garden spaces. 

Rate: $180 per hour (One hour service minimum; includes 2 people)
Paid delivery fees to your zip code will be added to mulch purchase. In person estimates required.

ABOVE-GROUND IRRIGATION

Our team is equipped to install basic above-ground systems that connect to a hose-bib in your yard. We can also diagnose and repair a number of issues with existing irrigation systems. For more complex irrigation problems, as well as instillation of below-ground systems, we will refer you to our trusted irrigation partner. 

Rate: $90 per hour (One hour service minimum; includes 1 person)
Homeowner will need to be present for the initial service visit.

SEASONAL PRUNING FOR FRUIT TREES, ROSES, HEDGES

Seasonal pruning keeps perennial plants healthy, vigorous, and in their desired shape. We offer experienced pruning services for fruit trees, roses, shrubs, and hedges in the late fall and winter months while these plants are in their annual period of dormancy.

Rate: $90 per hour (One hour service minimum; includes 1 person)
Service includes clearing of all pruning debris into on-site receptacles. Disposal fees may apply for larger loads of debris. In person estimates may be required.

PRUNING FOR JAPANESE MAPLES

We provide pruning services for ornamental trees, including Japanese Maples, to help control size and maintain basic shape. We can work on ornamental trees up to a maximum of 15 feet high.

Rate: $90 per hour (One hour service minimum; includes 1 person)
Service includes clearing of all pruning debris into on-site receptacles. Disposal fees may apply for larger loads of debris. In person estimates may be required.

Please Note: For more complex aesthetic pruning jobs, tree removals, and all significant tree health problems, we will refer you to a certified arborist or local aesthetic pruner.

TREE PLANTING SERVICE

If you need assistance planting a tree (or very large shrub) that you purchase from our nursery, we are happy to help.

Our basic tree-planting package includes soil amendments, stakes, and labor. Please note that this is in addition to the cost of the tree plus the delivery fees to bring it to your residence.

Single Tree Rate: $90 per hour (One hour service minimum; includes 1 person)
If planting multiple trees, an in-person estimate may be required.
Planting supplies are estimated at $25-$50 per tree depending on size.

There are few important details that we will need you to address before we can schedule planting a tree in your yard. Our Landscape Services Manager will review these items with you prior to scheduling service.

Utility Lines: Gas, electric, and ethernet lines must be marked by utility companies prior to scheduling service. This is critical so that we do not come in contact with a line while digging and accidentally cause service interruption. 

Soil Assessment: A basic description of the soil in your designated planting area will help us assess it before we are onsite. For example, have you ever tested it before or amended it? We may ask you to perform a simple drainage test by digging a small hole, filling it with water, then timing how long it takes to drain. 

Terrain Description: Details of the terrain we will be walking through and working in to plant your tree will help us prepare with the right equipment. This includes the presence of steps, hillsides, rocks, fences, walls, brush, other plants, etc.

History of Location: We will need to know if any trees or shrubs were ever in the target planting area, and whether they were completely removed. If not, we may recommend a stump removal service before any tree planting is scheduled.

LAWN CONVERSIONS

Are you ready to convert your lawn into an attractive collection of California native or water-wise plants? We’re excited to assist with your project and encourage you to look at East Bay Municipal Utility District's (EBUMD) lawn conversion rebate programs.

Our team will transform your lawn with a standard sheet-mulching technique that utilizes cardboard, compost, and mulch to smother the turf so that it becomes a usable cultivation area that can be transplanted into.

In person estimates are required for all lawn conversion projects. Paid delivery fees to your zip code will be added to mulch and compost purchases.
