Description
The fruit on this persimmon is larger than the traditional 'Jiro' and not as flat but still as crunchy when ripe! An easy to grow variety for a lovely fall harvest. Twice the size of a normal persimmon with gorgeous orange, rounded fruit.
Persimmons have fabulous fall color. They delight us with their stunning orange fruit, interesting silhouette, and delicious fruit. Asian varieties are less astringent and can be eaten while firm, while American varieties need to be fully ripe to enjoy their rich flavor.
Deciduous, slow growing, upright tree. 3-5 years before fruit production.
