Description
Heart Throb is a beautiful dogwood tree with deep green leaves and showy clusters of rosy flowers dusted in pink. Fall comes with inedible red fruit that birds love, and purple leaves that add drama to your landscape. The unique bark peels off in irregular patches, revealing a mosaic of mottled colors underneath, adding even more interest to this beauty.
Dogwoods (Cornus spp.) include a large group of flowering shrubs and woody trees. This group includes varying sizes of trees and sub-shrubs. While they vary in size, dogwoods are known for providing year-round interest from early spring flowers, delicate leaves, summer berries and brilliant fall colors.
