Native Plant Extravaganza Featuring Homegrown Habitats San Leandro

Evergreen Nursery is proud to participate in the annual spring Native Plant Extravaganza on Saturday, April 11th along with other independent East Bay nurseries.
A portion of all native plants that are purchased that day will support the annual "Bringing Back The Natives" garden tour. This year the tour features 5 gardens in San Leandro, 3 in Castro Valley, 3 in Hayward, 3 in Alameda, and more.
Our native-plant-loving friends from Homegrown Habitats San Leandro will provide free consults in the nursery from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on plant selection and native gardening in our local community.
If you've been curious about adding native plants to your outdoor spaces, don't miss this special opportunity to get one-on-one assistance from experienced gardeners who are passionate about growing these plants and understand their unique needs.
What Is The Native Plant Extravaganza?
The Native Plant Extravaganza is organized by the "Bringing Back The Natives" Garden Tour as a way to raise awareness about gardening with California native plants while also supporting the annual Tour through plant sales at participating East Bay native nurseries and independent garden centers.

Where Can I Learn More About California Native Plants?
Our favorite resource for definitive native plant knowledge and native garden design ideas is the Calscape website, which is a project of the California Native Plant Society, a non-profit leader in California native plant advocacy, education, and stewardship.
