Description
This is a neat, knee high variety with fuzzy, 2' tall wands of blood-red flowers on velvety red stems.
Anigozanthos is commonly known as Kangaroo paw or Cat's paw. Native to Australia, these are wonderfully unique flowering plants with long, slender, arching leaves in a clumping habit and extraordinary clusters of tubular flowers that are covered in velvety fuzz, giving them the look of an animal's paw. Flowers are on long, velvety stems that rise above the foliage. Blooms come in an array of colors and are an impressive addition to your garden. They are easy to care for, drought tolerant and thrive as a perennial in our mild climate. Pollinators and hummingbirds love them but deer do not!
