Get answers to your questions via email 7 days a week from a live human, not a bot. The Help Desk operates during normal business hours and is closed on major holidays. We can help you with quick inventory checks, product information, and a range of horticultural topics. This is also the best way to get access to our team of experts for more complex questions about plant care issues and gardening. 

2. Call us at (510) 632-1522:
Listen to the options on our phone tree. Please understand that our call volume can become unpredictably high at times, especially on weekends and during the spring gardening months. We do our best to answer all calls, but some may be sent to our voicemail boxes. It may take us 24-48 hours to return your call. We thank you for your patience.

3. Email Our Green Goods Buyer for special plant requests.
Please specify the plant's common name & botanical name if you know it. Include the size, color, and quantity desired. If your plant is available from our suppliers but it is an item we do not normally stock, we will require pre-payment before a special order can be placed.

4. Visit us at the nursery.
We have a team of knowledgeable plant-lovers who are ready to answer your questions in person and help you find the right plants and gardening products for your space seven days a week.


**If you need technical assistance with plant problems, disease diagnosis, or pest infestation, you have these two options** 


OPTION #1:
Send Photos to our
Help Desk and include a description of your plant's issue including when the problem began and how it has progressed. Please provide as much detail as possible about your plant's history such as when you bought it, how much daily light or shade exposure it receives, your garden's soil conditions, plus the plant's fertilization cycles and watering schedules. This will give us the context to help figure out what might be going on with your plant. We are usually able to respond to requests for assistance within 2-3 days.

OR

OPTION #2:
Bring us a physical sample to assess at the nursery. For the safety of our nursery plant collection, please enclose ALL cuttings or plant material in a ziplock plastic bag or other secure container. Thank you!

We are open daily 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Please Note: Our bulk supplies yard closes 30 minutes earlier.

The nursery is closed on the following U.S. holidays: Easter Sunday;
Independence Day (July 4th); Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day through New Year's Day
