||Santa Rosa Plum
Most popular plum in California and Arizona. Great for fresh eating, jellies, and canning. Gorgeous red-hued purple skin with amber flesh.
Plums have a diverse flavor profile and beautiful spring blooms. We carry Japanese varieties for their rich flavor and extended shelf life. All our plum trees are self-fertile, however cross pollination w/different a variety will yield even better results.
Deciduous, slow growing, upright tree. 3-5 years before fruit production.
||Plant in full sun (minimum 6 hours).
||Plant plums in deep, moisture retentive, well-drained soil. Water heavily in the first few growing seasons to establish strong root system. It’s best to water deeply at the soil line, then let the soil dry out (though not completely) and water again.
