Cultivar: Arctic Rose Nectarine

Delicious white nectarine. This variety is sweet and delicious and can be harvested while firm, extending shelf life. Blushed deep red w/yellow skin and creamy white flesh. Medium size fruit.

Nectarines are a deciduous stone fruit trees with delicious eating fruit, like peaches without the fuzz! Vigorous growers, they are an excellent addition to small and large backyard orchards. Even though these are self-fruitful, there will be higher yield with more than one variety for cross-pollination.

Deciduous, slow growing, upright tree. 3-5 years before fruit production.

Care

Sun Needs: Plant in full sun (minimum 6 hours).
Soil/Water Needs: Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Water deeply and regularly in the first few growing seasons to establish strong root system. Reduce frequency once established.
Planting and Care Tip: Prune to shape and remove dead or damaged branches. Thin young fruits to increase fruit size. Fertilize in late winter before blooms emerge.
