Lavender angustifolia is commonly known as English Lavender and is the one most often used in cooking and for decorative use. Prized for its aromatic leaves, fragrant flower spikes of varying shades of purple and the classic, sweet lavender scent. Long flower spikes make it excellent for cutting. Deer resistant, drought tolerant and a magnet for bees and butterflies! 'Super Blue' is a small, compact variety that grows to just 12", making it perfect for edging and containers. Blooms are deep purple/blue on shorter flower spikes.
Lavender is comprised of 47 different species, each with its own unique flower, foliage and distinct aroma. A favorite among gardeners and a wonderful plant for our climate. Evergreen, pollinator magnet, drought tolerant and deer resistant make this a gorgeous addition to all types of gardens.
