Firm dark red to nearly black fruit, medium to large size. Taste test winner.

Attractive deciduous tree with delicious fruit, called "drupes", ranging from deep red to yellow blush in the summer. We offer sweet varieties. A favorite fruit of many a tree climber.

Deciduous, slow growing, upright tree. 3-5 years before fruit production.


Sun Needs: Plant in full sun (minimum 6 hours).
Soil/Water Needs: Provide humus-rich, acidic, well-drained soil. Water deeply and regularly during the first few growing seasons to establish an extensive root system; reduce frequency once established.
Planting and Care Tip: Fertilize before new growth begins in spring. Prune in winter while dormant for shape and structure.
