Apples are in abundance right now! This easy, healthy option makes for a delicious autumn treat. Make as many as you want to feed a crowd. They are wonderful, fresh out of the oven, but can also be reheated in the microwave later.
- 3-4 Large Apples, washed and cored
- 1/2 C. Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 4 Tbsp. butter
Mix the brown sugar, flour and cinnamon a mixing bowl. Fill each apple with this mixture on the inside. Place 1 tbsp. of butter on top of each apple. Place them in a shallow baking pan. Add 1/3 C. of boiling water to the bottom of your pan and cover tightly.
Bake at 350 Degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
