With the warmer season right around the corner, it’s time to plant gorgeous annuals and perennials in your garden. We are fully┬ástocked with all types of flowering beauties to make your garden glow this spring. Come into the nursery to see our selection of seeds and starts. We have annuals and perennials in a variety of colors, textures and sizes to suit your space and aesthetics. Whether you need border plants, container plants or just want to fill your flower beds with color, we can help you choose which flowers are right for you! From peonies and zinnias, to coneflowers and cosmos, we will help you fill your yard with color!

When planting annuals and perennials in early Spring, make sure the soil is not too clay-heavy or wet. New roots need moist soil but soggy soil will cause them to drown. If your soil is having trouble with drainage, turn in some compost before planting.

Are you having trouble figuring out how to plant and arrange your flower beds? Try grouping different colors and textures together to create variation and interest. Tall plants can go in the back of beds, while shorter, spreading plants might look great up front. When in doubt, play around with plants while they are still in their pots by arranging them around each other. Just remember to envision them in their full-grown state and leave enough room in your beds for them to spread out a bit. If you still need ideas, come talk to our knowledgeable, friendly staff. They have years of experience and will help you sort out your ideas. We look forward to seeing you!
