Evergreen Nursery carries a wide variety of plants to suit your needs and your space.  From basic landscape shrubs and trees well-suited to our area to unique specimen plants to accent an existing planting bed.  There is always something to grow!

 

We have a wide assortment of top quality perennials and ground covers.  Our succulent section, as well as our drought tolerant and native plant sections, is always expanding.  We stock many of the popular and new rose varieties.  Our gorgeous Japanese Maples set us apart, along with many other new and unusual plant varieties.

 

Come see our wide range of organic and conventional vegetables and herbs year round, both already started and in seed from.  As for other edibles, we offer plenty of fruit trees to choose from, including popular grafted combinations and all kinds of citrus.  We also carry seed potatoes, garlic, and onion sets.

 

In the event that we do not have the specific plant you are looking for, special orders are welcome.

Bulk Landscape Materials Print E-mail

We carry all the compost and mulch for your garden in bulk.  Don't have a truck to haul it home in?  No problem!  We can deliver it to you.  Need a small amount?  We also sell our bulk materials by the bag.  Please call for pricing.  (click on an image for a larger view)

 

Material avaiable by the cubic yard (in quarter yard increments):
Landscaper's Blend Ground up wood bark and compost, composted together.  Mix into existing soil to add nutrients and improve overal soil quality.  Approximately 1100 pounds per cubic yard. ry_landscapers_blend
Mushroom Compost 

Composted straw-type material that may come from stables.  Mushroom Growers may add other agricultural by-products, grind it up, compost it all together, grow mushrooms in it for a period of time.  Mix into existing soil to add nutrients and improve overall soil quality.  Approximately 1100 lbs per cubic yard.

Soil Mix / Topsoil

A blend of soil, mushroom compost, and wood bark.  Use where additional soil is needed: building raised beds, making mounds or berms in gardens, back filling retaining wall.  Approximately 1100 lbs per cubic yard.

Shredded Cedar

Stringy reddish bark.  Often mistaken for “Gorilla Hair,” which is actually shredded redwood.  Excellent for water retention.  Holds well on slopes.  Approximately 1100 lbs per cubic yard.

Fir Bark - Medium

3/4" to 1” nugget shaped bark.  Decorative use.  Will help retain moisture in soil.  Approximately 600 lbs per cubic yard.

It’s never been easier to go organic.  We carry everything you need to raise your garden in an eco-friendly way!  From an ever-growing selection of vegetables, herbs, and seeds to fertilizers and solutions, we have it covered.

We feature a complete line of organic and natural fertilizers by E.B. Stone, as well as pest and fungus controls by Bonide and EcoSMART.  We also carry organic vegetables and herbs from Sweetwater Nursery and Cottage Garden.  We stock a wide range of organic seeds from Ferry-Morse.

Set off specimen plants by planting them in a complementary pot or add an extra color punch to a shady corner.  Dress up a houseplant by slipping it into one of our pretty baskets or cachepots.  Grow your vegetable garden just outside your kitchen door and make your harvests easy.

 

We also recycle used black nursery cans!  Don't toss your nursery cans once you've planted your new plants - rinse them out and bring them back.
